Nathan Lefever is originally from Farmington, New Mexico and came to New Mexico State University in 2009 to study film. He graduated with his Bachelor’s in Creative Media with an emphasis Digital Filmmaking and a minor in Animation/Visual Effects. While attending school, he also worked as the Director of Video and ultimately the Director of Operations at The LNG Company, a local advertising and marketing company, an early predecessor into Organ Mountain Outfitters. In addition, he has worked on a variety of sets of all sizes – from small corporate commercials, music videos, television shows, and feature films.
After leaving LNG to start his own business, Lefever Creative, Nathan focused primarily on commercial production for local clients including Memorial Medical Center, Z Real Estate, and non-profit organizations like COPE in Alamogordo and the yearly March of Dimes High Heels for High Hopes show.
Nathan began working full-time in the equipment room managing gear check-ins and outs as well as supervising the CMI facilities at the beginning of 2022.
When he’s not at work, he and his lovely wife Kate enjoy spending time with their three dogs, Orson, Hayao, and Petra.
