CMI student wins Disney Fan Art Contest
James Lopez, a senior in the Animation and Visual Effects program at CMI, competed in a Hot Topic Disney Villians Fan Art Contest and has won the grand prize.
CMI Student hired at Sundance
Congratulations to CMI Digital Filmmaking student Roman Dennis on his exciting opportunities with Sundance! After volunteering for their 2017 Summer Labs, Roman was hired on as as script reader, 2nd AC, grip, and is now shooting this years Sundance Film Festival after filming Sundance NextFest in L.A. Keep up the great work Roman and best of luck in all of your Sundance adventures!

YOCHI wins Best Short Film at Belize Int’l Film Festival
Yochi, a short film written and directed by New Mexico filmmaker and CMI Professor, Ilana Lapid, won Best Short Film last night at the Belize International Film Festival. The cast and crew will be screening Yochi (25 min.) this week in Orange Walk, Belmopan, and Cayo.
