The Creative Media Institute at New Mexico State University offers the Bachelor of Creative Media in Animation and Visual Effects. Our curriculum focuses on the art, craft, and technique of storytelling in motion.
Animation and Visual Effects is the highest growing area in CMI. Students choose an area of emphasis, 2D Production or 3D and Visual Effects Production, but they study all aspects of digital filmmaking and digital arts, whether they are aspiring writers, animators, storyboarders, compositors, or modelers. CMI houses a state-of-the-art digital projection screening room, post-production lab, animation lab, and production space.
